While helping mom with her shirt today I noticed a little spot on her lower back near her right hip. It's a sideways oval in rough shap and just about the size of my pinkynail. The spot's a soft brown in color and it looks slightly bumpy.

Now, I worry over little shit, but surely this is slightly justified from what I've read about worrisome bumps and skin cancer. Yet when I suggested she should have it looked at she only shrugged and waved it off.

Should I push her into getting it looked at?

I would get it checked out but if she doesn't want to check this site out...it tells you what skin cancer looks like

A soft brown? Sounds like a mole to me. I have them all over my body and they've never done me any harm :D Puur
